Mission & Council

Committed to success in the world of business.

Vision: our aspiration

Beloit College’s School of Business is the most personalized, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial undergraduate business school in the world, developing socially conscious, passionate and successful business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Mission: for what purpose

We help you discover your passions, translating them into a business or fulfilling careers that find unique solutions to people’s problems and make your community a better place.

Philosophy: what we believe in

A business leader or an entrepreneur is first and foremost a liberally educated thinker with an ability to inquire intellectually from multiple perspectives, and to engage in social responsibility.

There is joy in learning and in pursuing a career.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.” – Steve Jobs.

Open inquiry and diversity of thoughts are the foundation of learning and knowledge production.
